The Medical Investigation Laboratory (LIM 14) linked to the university's Pathology Department within the Medical Faculty Foundation of the University of Săo Paulo (FMUSP) will conduct immunohistochemistry tests. The project is being coordinated by Venâncio Avancini F. Alves, Ph.D., an incumbent professor and a recognized specialist in immunohistochemistry. Achim Jungblüth, M.D., a researcher at LICR's New York Branch is also collaborating on this project.
The development of the project will require large scale tests for the validation of preliminary results obtained by researchers at LICR.
This project is being partially financed through the Innovation Therapeutic and Diagnostic Products Program jointly set up by the Financier of Studies and Projects (FINEP) of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MST) and the Ministry of Health.
